Q.- DO I NEED SPECIAL EVENT INSURANCE?

A.- SPECIAL EVENT INSURANCE AND WEDDING INSURANCE IS WORTH LOOKING IN TO-FOR MANY REASONS. IT IS NOT A REQUIREMENT OF THE SANGO EVENT CENTER.  WE HAVE INCLUDED A LINK EXPLAINING  SPECIAL EVENT INSURANCE. THIS LINK IS FROM THE USAA WEBSITE OFFERED TO MEMBERS OF USAA-MOST INSURANCE COMPANIES OFFER SIMILIAR POLICIES.

Q.- WHAT DATES ARE AVAILABLE IN THE MONTH I AM CONSIDERING?

A.- PLEASE REFER TO THE ONLINE CALENDAR FOR DATES AVAILABLE.  BOOKED RESERVATIONS ARE PAID IN FULL AND ARE BLOCKED OFF OF OUR CALENDAR TO AVOID ANY CONFUSION AND SAVE TIME.


Q.- HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN THIS LOCATION ACCOMMODATE?

A.- OUR MAXIMUM CAPACITY IS 258 PEOPLE.  WITH TABLES AND CHAIRS OUR MAXIMUM CAPACITY IS 200. TO AVOID DAMAGE WE TRY TO ACCOMODATE EVENTS FOR 200 PEOPLE OR LESS.


Q.- WHAT IS THE RENTAL FEE AND WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THAT PRICE? IS THERE A DISCOUNT FOR BOOKING SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY?

A.- RENTAL FEES ARE LISTED ON THE OUR SERVICES PAGE OF THIS WEBSITE AS WELL AS WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. YES, SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY RENTALS ARE SIGNIFICANTLY CHEAPER AND ARE A GREAT ALTERNATIVE FOR SOMEONE LOOKING TO SAVE MONEY ON A VENUE RENTAL BUT STILL GET A LOT FOR THEIR MONEY.


Q.- HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT, WHEN IS IT DUE, AND IS IT REFUNDABLE? WHAT'S THE PAYMENT PLAN FOR THE ENTIRE BILL?

A.- WE REQUIRE A MINIMUM DEPOSIT OF $500 TO RESERVE A SPECIFIC DATE.  ONCE WE HAVE RECEIVED YOUR DEPOSIT NO ONE ELSE CAN BOOK THAT DATE.  BECAUSE SHOWING THAT DATE AS A BOOKED EVENT MAY CAUSE US TO LOSE BUSINESS DEDICATED TO THAT SPECIFIC DATE WE DO NOT OFFER A REFUND ON DEPOSITS IF YOU CANCEL AN EVENT.  THE ENTIRE EVENT RENTAL MUST BE PAID 30 DAYS BEFORE THE BOOKED DATE- 50% OF THE EVENT RENTAL MUST BE PAID 60 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.  AFTER THE EVENT HAS CONCLUDED AND WE HAVE EVALUATED THE VENUE FOR DAMAGE, WE WILL THEN REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS AS LONG AS THERE WAS NO DAMAGE OR EXCESSIVE CLEANING REQUIRED TO THE SANGO EVENT CENTER, GROUNDS OR EQUIPMENT. PLEASE SEE OUR SANGO EVENT CENTER POLICIES FOR SPECIFICS REGARDING WHAT CONSTITUTES THE NON-REFUND OF A DEPOSIT. 


Q.- CAN I HOLD MY CEREMONY HERE TOO? IS THERE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE? IS THE CEREMONY SITE CLOSE TO THE RECEPTION SITE? IS THERE A BRIDES CHANGING AREA? HOW MUCH TIME IS ALLOCATED FOR THE REHEARSAL?

A.- WE CAN ACCOMMODATE A CEREMONY AS WELL AS A RECEPTION AT THE SAME SITE.  WE HAVE OUTDOOR GROUNDS FOR OUTDOOR WEDDINGS AND FAMILY REUNIONS, ETC AS WELL AS INDOOR SEATING AND A SEPARATE PATIO AREA.  THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE TO USE THE OUTDOOR GROUNDS ONLY IF YOU REQUIRE OUTDOOR SEATING AND/OR OUTDOOR ACCOMMODATIONS SUCH AS OUTDOOR HEATING, MUSIC, BEVERAGE STATIONS, ETC.  THERE IS A SEPARATE BRIDAL ROOM WITH SEATING, A PRIVATE BATHROOM AND VANITY AREA.  REHEARSALS WILL BE ACCOMMODATED ON AN EVENING WHEN THERE ARE NO OTHER EVENTS SCHEDULED AND AT THE OWNERS DISCRETION FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. THERE IS ALSO NO CHARGE FOR TIME SPENT ON PROPERTY FOR THE BENEFIT OF PHOTOGRAPHY OR SETUP AS LONG AS THERE ARE NO OTHER EVENTS SCHEDULED. DURING THAT TIME FRAME.


Q.- IS THE SITE HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?

A.- YES. WE ARE HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE AND ANYTHING WE CAN DO TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR EVENT PLEASE JUST LET US KNOW.


Q.- WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER CONTINGENCY PLAN FOR OUTDOOR SPACES?

A.- LIFE HAPPENS, AND FOR THIS REASON WEDDING AND SPECIAL EVENT INSURANCE WAS CREATED.  OUTDOOR EVENTS CAN BE MOVED INDOORS OR AN EVENT CAN BE RE-SCHEDULED TO A DATE WHERE THERE ARE NO OTHER EVENTS SCHEDULED.  THE TEAM AT SANGO EVENT CENTER WILL DO EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR EVENT.


Q.- HOW LONG WILL I HAVE USE OF THE EVENT SPACE(S) I RESERVE? IS THERE AN OVERTIME FEE IF I STAY LONGER? IS THERE A MINIMUM OR MAXIMUM RENTAL TIME?

A.- THE SANGO EVENT CENTER IS RENTED AT HOURLY RATES DURING THE WEEK AND BY THE DAY ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.  YOU MAY ARRIVE AS EARLY AS YOU WOULD LIKE- PLEASE UNDERSTAND IF THERE WAS AN EVENT THE NIGHT BEFORE WE MAY STILL BE CLEANING IF YOU ARRIVE BEFORE 8AM. FULL DAY AND PM RENTALS ARE EXPECTED TO LEAVE BY 2AM.


Q.-CAN I MOVE THINGS AROUND AND DECORATE TO SUIT MY PURPOSES, OR DO I HAVE TO LEAVE EVERYTHING AS IS? ARE THERE DECORATION GUIDELINES/RESTRICTIONS? CAN I USE REAL CANDLES?

A.- YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO MOVE THINGS AROUND TO SUIT YOUR EVENT PURPOSES.  WE ARE FINE WITH DECORATIONS AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT PUT ANY HOLES IN THE WALL OR USE ANY TYPE OF ADHESIVE THAT WOULD DAMAGE THE WALLS OR FLOORS.  PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING CANDLES- PLEASE USE THE BATTERY OPERATED CANDLES TO PREVENT ACCIDENTS. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SHOOTING FIREWORKS AFTER 10PM. ALL SMOKING MUST BE DONE OUTSIDE BUILDING- WE HAVE AN OUTSIDE PATIO AREA WITH CONTAINERS FOR CIGARETTE BUTTS.  PLEASE PUT ALL CIGARETTE BUTTS IN CIGARETTE BUTT DISPOSAL.


Q.- WHAT TIME CAN MY VENDORS START SETTING UP ON THE DAY OF THE WEDDING? IS IT POSSIBLE TO SET UP THE DAY BEFORE? HOW EARLY CAN DELIVERIES BE MADE?

A.- DELIVERIES CAN BE MADE AS EARLY AS 8AM ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT.  YOU MAY SET UP THE NIGHT BEFORE WITH PRIOR APPROVAL IF THERE ARE NO EVENTS SCHEDULED THAT EVENING. (IN A WORSE CASE SCENARIO, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE YOUR EVENT SPACE WILL BE READY AT THE TIME REQUESTED BECAUSE THERE ARE SOME THINGS OUT OF OUR CONTROL. THIS IS EXTREMELY RARE. WE WILL DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO MAKE SURE YOUR EVENT IS NOT DELAYED FOR ANY REASON.)


Q- CAN OUR DJ PLUG INTO YOUR MUSIC SYSTEM?

A- NO. WE DO NOT ALLOW DJ'S TO PLUG INTO OUR MUSIC SYSTEM OR SPEAKERS. THERE IS TOO MUCH ROOM FOR ERROR THERE. MOST DJ'S USE AMPS AND WE DO NOT WANT OUR SPEAKERS BLOWN. IF YOU HIRE A DJ- HE OR SHE SHOULD HAVE THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT.
